Musical Theater Showcase Musical Theater Two and Three students showcased an evening of “Love Stories” in song at Diamond Head Theatre in December, performing solos, duets, and group pieces from the Broadway classics “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Chicago,” and “Rent.” The event highlighted their hard work, talent, and passion for musical theater, delighting the audience with their performances.
Winter Dance Showcase The Winter Dance Showcase on December 7 captivated a packed audience in Seto Hall with stunning student choreography. Dancers ended the weekend with a performance at the Family Programs Hawai‘i Christmas celebration alongside the Hula Kane Dance Program and Hawaiian Ensemble. They also spread holiday cheer assembling 1,000 goodie bags for children at the event.
Concert Bands Winter Concert On December 8, the Lower and Upper School bands performed a spectacular Winter Concert at Kawānanakoa Auditorium. The evening featured performances from beginning to seasoned Concert Band musicians. Highlights included “The Lord of the Rings” by Johan de Meij, “Beauty and the Beast” by Alan Menken, and a grand finale of “The Polar Express” performed by the combined bands. The concert showcased the musical growth of its student participants and filled the audience with holiday spirit.
