students shared their academic progress, personal growth, and future goals. Utilizing the EQUIIIPs process (Edison Questions Used in Interest, Inquiry, Innovation & Problem Solving) , students explored diverse passion projects, from endangered wildlife research to mental health advocacy, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Their presentations reflected rigorous research, inquiry- based learning, and community-focused solutions. The event reinforced ESA’s commitment to student-driven learning, curiosity, and innovation, setting the stage for continued success. Creature Comfort Pet Therapy Brings Joy to ESA Students Edison Success Academy continues its heartwarming partnership with Creature Comfort Pet Therapy , bringing bi-monthly visits that provide students with hands-on experiences in animal care. These engaging sessions not only offer stress relief through interactions with therapy animals but also educate students on pet health, training, and responsible ownership. Supported by the Marisa Tufaro Foundation, the program fosters empathy and curiosity while enhancing students' learning experiences. ESA looks forward to many more enriching visits that inspire both academic and emotiona l growth.

Work-Based Learning at ESA: Hands-On Career Exploration ESA’s Work-Based Learning program is transforming student career preparation with real-world experiences! Once a week, students step beyond the classroom into internships aligned with their interests and career goals , providing industry insights and equipping students with essential skills for the future. ESA is grateful to its dedicated business and organizational partners, including Amboy Ave Veterinary Office, Edison Collision, Jag Physical Therapy, B&H Auto Body, FastSigns, Fashion Ave Hair Salon, Edison Animal Shelter, JFK Hospital, and many more. Recent guest speakers have included representatives from Iron Workers Union 11, IBEW Local 456, NJ Transit, Innovate Salon Academy, UA NJ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Division, Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 9, and DMR Architects. These sessions expose students to diverse opportunities, sparking inspiration and informed decision-making about their futures.

ESA Students Explore College Life at Kean University Edison Success Academy students gained a firsthand look at higher education during a recent visit to Kean University . Touring the campus, students explored academic facilities, libraries, and student spaces while learning about college life and opportunities beyond high school. ESA remains dedicated to connecting students with opportunities that inspire and prepare them for success.
