Following the launch of a new Irish subsidiary in January this year, STIEBEL ELTRON has completed the fit-out of its new head office, showroom and training centre at Stemple Exchange, Blanchardstown in Dublin. The showroom is open to the trade and public by appointment for viewing the range of heat pumps, electric heating and hot water products supplied by the company. Getting the business off to a flying start, the first guests to the facility were Regional Manager Mark McCluggage and his team from City Electrical Factors. The electrical wholesaler is a key partner for STIEBEL ELTRON’s electric heating and hot water products, supplying them direct to the trade. The meeting not only allowed the CEF team to get hands on with the installed products, but also established a series of business opportunities for both parties to develop together. The middle of May also saw the first training courses for heat pump installer
partners running at the centre. One- and two-day courses will run at regular intervals going forward for those wishing to partner with STIEBEL ELTRON for renewable heating business. Among attendees at the first courses were teams from Farrell Mechanical of Ballina, Louth and Meath Education and Training Board, and David Fitzgerald Plumbing and Heating. The training rooms feature working installed ground and air-source units for hands-on experience as well as well-appointed facilities for classroom learning. Mark McManus, Managing Director, said, “We believe in offering the best and most comprehensive training to our partners possible. Our ethos is to make heat pumps easier than ever – and providing the best training and support is one of the cornerstones of that effort. “The investment in our new training centre underlines our dedication to that cause. With our simple-to-install products, free training programmes and
technical support, our installers find that they can save a day or more on a typical heat pump installation compared to competitor offerings. “The experience of getting stuck on site and not being able to get an answer to a question becomes a thing of the past. “With our new facility up and running, we hope that many more Irish installers will enjoy the benefits of becoming a STIEBEL ELTRON partner and we encourage anyone interested in partnership to get in contact. “We’re also happy to extend our welcome to planners, designers, consultants and developers who want to learn more about renewables and the electrification of heat and hot water.” The Irish business is supported by local field technical engineers, as well as a dedicated technical helpdesk which can be reached by phone or email. To book training, installers are invited to email training@stiebel-eltron.ie Sales enquiries can be directed to sales@stiebel-eltron.ie
