The NCB700 ON can deliver hot water to three bathrooms simultaneously.

Young adults are choosing to stay longer in their parents’ homes due to the rising cost of living. In Ireland, this demographic now surpasses 440,000 individuals, marking a 13% rise in less than 10 years. Combined with the rise in remote work arrangements, this puts additional strain on household utilities, especially heating and hot water, affecting everyone’s daily requirements. In 2022, Navien launched its new NCB ON range, a series of 20% hydrogen blend boilers set to transform the lives of homeowners with the heaviest heating and hot water demands. The largest boiler in the range, the NCB700 ON, can deliver hot water to three bathrooms simultaneously. SIMULTANEOUS SHOWERING Gone are the days of inconsistently warm showers and frustrating periods of poor flow rate when other outlets around the property are in use. With the NCB ON range, Navien’s boilers have a built-in domestic hot water recirculation pump (NCB700), flow adjustment valve and auto mixing valve for rapid hot water delivery. The NCB700 ON, the largest of the three new models, also comes with our NaviCirc™ device as standard, which can be installed from scratch or joined to the existing distribution pipework. The built-in pump within the boiler unit pushes water around the NaviCirc™ device and, once it reaches 35°C, the circulation will be blocked. We believe this is a real game changer for installers working on larger homes. The NCB700 ON offers flow rates of up to 22 litres per minute, which enables the system to deliver hot water to several outlets at the same time using the existing pipework. An additional key feature of the NaviCirc system is that it ensures the right

allows installers to easily fit reliable boilers in homes with heavy demands for hot water but without the hassle of fitting a cylinder. Tank and cylinder can be removed entirely, creating new space for storage or even a small WC. Boilers within our combi crossover range use 38% less gas than a standard combi boiler and can help homeowners to save over 7,500 litres of water every year. The NCB700 ON won Domestic Heating Product of the Year at the

Energy Saving Awards. The boiler features an outstanding turndown ratio of 15:1, is 20% hydrogen blend ready, 94% efficient and achieves an industry-leading ErP A+ energy rating when used with a Navien Smart Plus controller. The NCB ON range has been built with the highest quality components, including an ASME Certified stainless steel heat exchanger and an easy-to-use interface, and comes with an industry-leading warranty of up to 12 years. temperature reaches the outlet quicker, helping to reduce the ‘cold water sandwich’ or time waiting for the water to heat up. GOODBYE TO THE CYLINDER Crucially for installers, our boilers can do this without the need for a hot water cylinder, making installations in larger homes less time-consuming and less expensive. The NCB range brings together the power of a high-performance system boiler with the cylinder-less advantages of a compact combi model. This new category, the combi crossover,
