APPRENTICESHIP DEGREE PROGRAMME

“I decided to do the BSc Apprenticeship Degree in Engineering Services Management as I had been looking to complete a degree and further my knowledge in engineering services management, which is a good fit for our business. “Previously, I could not commit to an evening course, due to family life and work commitments. However, the structure of this apprenticeship degree programme suited me much better, as the classes took place live and online each Friday. As MTU recently gained new academic status, employees will now graduate from a full university as opposed to an IT. Employers are also only required to release students one day per week, while the employee will remain within their place of work over the other four days with a supported framework of apprenticeship work projects and assignments to complete. Employers can also avail of generous support grants of up to €4,000. DELIVERY AND DURATION The course is delivered through blended delivery. This comprises one full day a week (Fridays) of live, interactive online classes delivered in real-time, where attendance is mandatory, and this is coupled with structured on-the-job learning in the employee’s own workplace.

Degree Programme is €750 per academic year, with two new employer grants now available: • The 2023 Apprenticeship Employer Grant €2,000 financial support grant for each employee registered • New 2023 gender-based bursary grant of €2,666 QUALIFICATION AWARDED On successful completion of this apprenticeship degree programme, apprentices will be awarded a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Level 7 Degree in Engineering Services Management from Munster Technological University.
