NATIONAL The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association has hired Rebecca Barnett as director of animal health and food safety policy in the Washington, D.C., office. Barnett will be working on issues such as traceability, dietary guidelines, animal welfare and food safety. She most recently worked at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture as the associate director of public policy.

COMPANY Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc. announced the appointment of Scott King, Ph.D. , as the new executive director of the U.S. Cattle Business . King has served as director of marketing for the U.S. Cattle Business at Boehringer Ingelheim since 2015.
