JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Create and develop opportunities to sell short-term, long-term contracts to a customer base, which is predominately international students, across our portfolio of properties across London. • Reduce the businesses reliance on using agency partners. • Manage new enquiries in a timely fashion coming in via our website, social channels, and instant messaging apps, such as WeChat and WhatsApp. • Work with the Accommodation Managers and Operations Teams to ensure the customer journey is managed end to end to reduce the risk of losing the sale. • Manage the regional Sales Team at our sister company, GoBritanya, to harvest sales oppor - tunities. • Input ideas to the Marketing Team on what marketing materials need to be created and in what form to increase sales, re-bookings, and extensions. • Develop strategies to minimise void periods and reduce the burden of having to find new residents during peaks times, by offering current residents incentives to extend their contracts. • Proactively build relationships with booking platforms, Language Schools, Universities and Pathway Providers. • Manage our partners for group bookings. • Arrange and host tours of our accommoda - tion for potential partners and residents. And manage all drop-in appointments. • Proficiently manage budgets. • Drive Trustpilot and Google Reviews.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Input ideas to the Marketing team to create timely social media and Google Adverts to ensure the business is meeting sales targets. • Work with Marketing Team to promote new buildings and initiatives that make us differ - ent from our competitors and help build the brand. • You will contribute to social media live ses - sions in which we answer questions that help our residents with their move to the UK and their student journey. • Provide FOH support during peak times such as turnarounds and the start of the academic terms. • Provide holiday support by covering some of the duties of the Accommodation Manager, Student Experience Manager, and the Com - munity & FOH Advisor. • Contribute insights, updates about the prop - erties in our portfolio, complaints, successes, and developments by competitors to the management team in the form of a monthly report.

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB • Good level of general education. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Proficient in using Customer Manage- ment System. Training will, however, be provided. • Excellent sales skills in a similar role within Student Accommodation/PBSA • Outstanding communication skills, both orally and written. • Confident at presenting to large groups and on camera. • Demonstrable experience in handling customer queries and complaints. • Self and culturally aware and able to adapt relationship building, communica - tions and negotiation skills to suit audi - ence. • Some understanding of Landlord/Tenant Legislation.

WORKING HOURS You will work from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Mon - day to Friday. However, you will be expected to work alternative hours and weekends dur - ing peak seasons or to cover holiday periods of colleagues.
