Josh acted as the Civil Project Manager and Engineering Lead for this 4-storey, 32-unit residential slab-on- grade building, which included an outdoor parking lot and a small landscaped area. This project required confirming the legal boundaries of the site, verifying the existing services available within the road, and working around a large storm sewer that ran through the property within an easement. Protection measures for the large storm sewer were required. A mix of surface and underground stormwater storage was utilized to protect existing vegetation along the perimeter of the site in order to avoid retaining walls. Grading along the property lines and building was designed to ensure all site runoff was captured and treated onsite. An oil and grit separator was installed in order to meet the requirements of the City and local conservation authority.
