Save the date! The Fitness Center is celebrating it ’ s 5 Year Anniversary on September 21! There will be more information coming to you soon about the event. We are excited to celebrate 5 years in our beautiful fitness facility. Heading into the summer months, it is more important than ever to stay hydrated! Here are five simple tips to help you stay hydrated: (1) Drink the right amount of water for your body, half your body weight in ounces is the recommended amount (2) Keep a water bottle with you during all of your activities (3) If you find that you tend to forget to drink your water, set an alarm as a reminder
(4) Monitor your caffeine and alcohol intake, as both can lead to dehydration (5) If plain water is hard to stomach, or just gets boring, add some flavor.
We had a wonderful turn out at our first annual Memorial Weekend Murph and will be doing it again next year. If you missed your chance to participate, we will have a fun 4 th of July themed workout July 2 with Kelli. Be sure to register for class. Our summer aqua classes are back! You can try out Aqua Mix, a TABATA - style aqua class on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. for the entire summer, and get your heart rate up while splashing in the pool. If you want to slow it down, we have Aqua Barre and Yoga on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. where you can tone your muscles and get a good stretch in, all while staying cool in the water. August brings us our next Blood Drive with OneBlood. Be sure to mark your calendar, August 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. If it is your first time donating in 2022, Patty Dimetres will have a wonderful “ Thank you ” gift for your life saving donation. Keep an eye out for our August Meditation theme and date, with Sue Deyo.
