Breaking the Code to Literacy PROFESSIONAL LEARNING PATHWAY

For more information or to register for this training, visit: https://www.cahelp.org/

Reading and writing is every child’s right. Although dyslexia only affects 20% of our population, nationally and state-wide, only one-third of our students read at a proficient or advanced level. As a result, two-thirds of our students are reading at basic or below basic. Therefore, literacy is a social justice issue we need to remediate, and we owe it to our students to evaluate our literacy instruction and understand the skills needed to help all students read. Join in this pathway as we “Break the Code” to uncover and explore structured literacy and its methodologies that work for ALL, specifically those with dyslexia and other reading challenges
