God directs everything that is in conformity with His character and with His blessed will and plan for our lives. When a believer sins he does not lose his salvation. In I John 2:1 and 2 we read, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not (that means going on sinning as a manner of life). And if any man sin (that means commit an act of sin), we (be lievers) have an adovcate with the Father (not the Judge), Jesus Christ the righteous.” You can no more make an unbeliever out of a believer by sin ning than you can unscramble a scrarti- bled egg. But what does happen is that Satan begins to accuse the believer before God. Then Christ appears and in His blessed advocacy presents again the efficacy of the worth of His finished work on Calvary’s Cross. One of the very definite results of sin in a be liever’s life is that fellowship with God is broken. The union is not broken but the communion is. But the glorious part of it is that the communion can be restored in a moment of time (I John 1:9). given her for a covering and that it is her glory or crown.” A. These teachings are found in I Cor inthians 11. In God’s creation there was a certain priority given to the part of man. That doesn’t mean that he is better than woman, but that the Lord has established a certain order to be followed. Paul points out that it would be a good thing for godly women, when they are in the house of the Lord, to follow the example of angelic beings who, when they are in the presence of deity, seek to show their submission and their humility by cov ering themselves. On the other hand the sign of hair which has been shorn off is a sign of punishment. That is why it was suggested that it should be long. Yet, the Apostle doesn’t force the issue. He says, “If any man seems to be contentious We have no such custom, neither the churches of God.” All of this should come from inner compulsion and not from outward 'pres sure. A contention should not be made about it. * * » .

The devil is willing for a person to pro fess Christianity just as long as he doesn't practice it. * * * Don't stay away from church because of the hypocrites there. Remember, there's al ways room for one more. 25
