God led me to the Lord Jesus. On De cember 20, 1896, I trusted the Lord Jesus and He saved my soul. The Word of God has been seed that produced crops of all sorts in my soul, heart and life. But, after the seed of the Word of God makes us a child of God, then the child of God becomes the seed and the Lord plants us where He sees we will do the most good. The blessed Holy Spirit does that for us. The Word of God comes into the heart and reveals the things of eter nity. This is the only Book in all the world that can do that. T he L ord has some interesting things to say in His Word about “seed.” In Luke 8:11 we find the sum mation of the story of the sower in which the Saviour declares, “The seed is the word of God.” In Matthew 13:38 we read about the wheat and the tares and that “The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom.” Here are two kinds of seed: the Word of God and the child of God.
