Flowers for Happiness
Winter
Dewdrops shine on winter trees.
A cold breeze sweeps along the trees
shaking branches as it flies.
Snowflakes glisten as they fall from the sky
coating the ground in a white cloud.
The sun shining,
reflecting on the snow.
But alas, the seasons must change.
Winter to spring, summer to fall.
Flowers bloom, green grass
sprouts from the ground.
Bees buzz and butterflies sip
nectar from the petals of roses, daisies.
The sweet smell of new life coats my senses.
I get lost in the simple peace of it all.
Handed out like candies at a carnival,
free for all to take.
Spring.
