THEFRIDAY CLUB The Friday Club, the loyal band of volunteers who do all kind of vital jobs around the Woodlands Grounds, recently hosted the Eco Council from Ansdell Primary School (www.ansdellprimary.co.uk). One of their projects was to plant trees (saplings) and bulbs in the Ansdell area. The Friday Club’s David Kerr’s has been involved in the excellent work of the ‘Lytham in Bloom’ group. He forged a relationship with the School and this has resulted in the recent planting of eight saplings around the Woodlands grounds as well as nearly 100 bulbs.
The kids loved it, as did David!
