Eden's choice of RCF's HDL 20-A line array system for the event proved to be an excellent decision. Four RCF HDL 20-A's were flown in an array on either side of the stage, supported by dual 18-inch SUB 8006-AS subs, providing a thunderous sound that exceeded expectations. Eden's fondness for the HDL 20-A's, which he calls the "gods of thunder," stems from their impressive clarity and power, despite their lightweight design. The HDL 20-A line array elements are equipped with a highly efficient two- way digital amplifier, resulting in an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. Despite weighing only 30 kg, they can produce a formidable 135 dB max SPL with minimal energy expenditure. This feature is what caught Eden's attention the most, as he observed the power consumption during events and noticed that the RCF HDL 20-A cabinets are much more power- efficient than other products on the market. The RCF brand's technology is just so efficient in what it consumes compared to what it throws out, which is especially crucial for events where energy use needs to be mindful, such as certain pubs and venues with a 10 Amp outlet. Eden chooses the HDL 20-A system as his go-to choice for a range of Production Corp's applications due to its durability, weight, and audio quality.
The system offers awesome clarity, a huge power-to-weight ratio, and a nice long throw, making it super versatile and suitable for both flying and ground stacking. As an ardent RCF enthusiast, Eden also uses a collection of the brand's other solutions to round out his aural arsenal. The RCF 4PRO series system is ideal for inside venues and performs for 500 people easily. The HD 10-A wedges are perfect for smaller stages or where space is limited. The ART 715-A speakers are great for smaller gigs or front-fill on larger gigs. However, his favorite is still the HDL 20-A speakers and SUB 8006-AS subs, which put a smile on his face every single time he uses them. Eden plans to load up on more HDL 20-A speakers and SUB 8006-AS subs in the future.
