Michael's musical talent has also earned him many awards and achievements.
He has performed with Nord as the center keyboard for his live rig since he was 15, played keyboards in the house band at Grand Arena in 2019 with well-known Afrikaans artists, received the highest awarded scholarship for international students to Berklee College of Music, and has a global publishing contract from Peermusic. Additionally, Michael has worked with SAMA-nominated artists, worked with "The Voice SA" artists, had the privilege of working with world- renowned gospel artist Jonathan Butler, and had a SAFTA nominated movie, "Swirl," for Best Made for TV Movie.
He has also made the elite Dean's list at Berklee College of Music for each academic year. This weekend, Michael will be performing with Juanita & Franja Du Plessis, Juan Boucher, and the Totius Hill band for two sold-out shows at the Grand Arena, opening for international artist Kip Moore. The Nords will be front and center for these two shows, showcasing Michael's incredible talent. Michael Wilson-Trollip is a true rising star in the music and sound industry, and his dedication, passion, and talent will continue to propel him to even greater heights in the years to come.
