Desks and Working Working area
The Bradford office now operates a hot desk environment. Each team has a neighborhood assigned to them. Check out the floor plans for their locations. The Bradford office operates a clear desk policy. Colleagues are asked to leave the desk they are using clean and tidy at the end of each day. If you are away from your desk for a long period of time, avoid leaving documents out to ensure we comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). Cups and litter do not look good when they build up on desks – spillages and other accidents can also cause damage to equipment such as keyboards and laptops. Please ensure rubbish is kept clear from the desk you are working at. Ensure that you are using the correct bins (general and recycle) to dispose of your waste. When you leave your desk or work area, ensure that you lock your screen to comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).
Pods There are pods on each floor for small informal meetings. These aren’t bookable, you can use them whenever they are free. Please only use them when there is a group of people having a quick get together. Touchdown Desks There are hot desks on all floors for visitors to use. These will have power points only.
Quiet Rooms and Areas These are for informal meetings. There are quiet areas located on each floor. Private ‘quiet rooms’ are located on the second and third floor. These are not bookable and should only be used for short meetings. Please do not use a quiet room all day for meetings or to hot desk.

Cleaning We have a team of cleaners on site between 4.30pm and 7.30pm each day. The cleaners will not remove dirty pots from desks therefore please ensure that you remove these and put them in the dishwasher before the end of the day. If there are any issues around cleaning or spillages then please report these to a member of the Office Support team. Bins and Recycling There are general waste, confidential waste and recycling waste bins available on every floor in a number of locations. Please ensure you use the correct bins. ALL paper items should be disposed of in the confidential waste bins. Temperature Control The heating and air conditioning are mainly controlled centrally by the landlord of the building. If you have any queries about the temperature please contact Office Support via the Ask Office Support portal. Our air handling units have two filtration systems and the units are on constant to maintain a steady flow throughout the office. To allow the units to work efficiently it is important that windows are kept closed.
Storage and Archiving
Storage Each team has storage facilities. As a business we would like to try and become more digitalised and use less storage in the building. All cupboard tops should be kept clear to comply with GDPR. To access archiving please contact Office Support via the Ask Office Support portal. Historical Archiving is kept off site. We have a number of car parking spaces for Anchor colleagues to use. As we do not have enough spaces for every colleague, a number of spaces have been allocated to each team and the use of these will be managed locally within the team. Should any colleague wish to use the car park, they must provide Office Support with their registration number. Any spaces that are available after 10am (except those for the Anchor On Call team) can be used by any colleague. As an additional benefit, colleagues may use the Anchor spaces in the car park after 5pm Monday – Friday and all-day Saturday and Sunday. Please do not access the building outside of your normal working hours without prior permission, this will trigger the intruder alarm and may result in costs to Anchor. The car park will be monitored and you may be required to produce your ID badge. For more information on parking, please see the Car Parking Policy on The Bridge. Parking in Bradford City Centre – Home Workers and Visitors There are lots of car parks near the office, check out the map of the local area for more information on these.
