Economics itself is so interesting and looks at the way the world functions. It can also lead to a variety of jobs in government, in finance or in large organisations, where you can play your part in shaping policies and shaping big business decisions. The University has an excellent teaching reputation and the location is perfect. When researching the course, I realised just how interesting it was and how economics is all about the world we live in; why people make the decisions they do and how this can affect government policies and the way countries operate on a global stage.
