The display had to be temporary in design, yet industrially sturdy to be able to withstand the retail produce environment that would be moisture rich with probable wet product and to withstand being restocked multiple times. The display had to be ver- satile, easily positioned and must NOT require any special or unique tools for assembly. Most of all, the display had to be visually appealing, encourage shopping, be easy to shop, and depict a natural and healthy “farm-fresh food” feeling for shoppers. Vanguard Packaging and Garland Foods won a Gold OMA Award for their Garland Half Pallet Display for Winn-Dixie.
