Shangri-La and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi were excited to host the stay of Zaid Zamrik , a ‘wish child’ and his family as part of Shangri - La’s collaboration with Make-A-Wish International. It was a pleasure to create a memorable experience for Zaid and his family. The whole team put hands-on practice preparing everything for his arrival and giving him a warm welcome. Zaid’s suite was decorated with flowers, balloons, and a special sport -themed cake, Zaid's favourite hobby. He was also presented with a gift by the Shangri-La Team. After the warm welcome he was surprised with a basketball game with Shangri-La Team at the beach, followed by a special dinner. On the next day Zaid and his family were invited take an Abra boat ride along the winding canal of the Qaryat Al Beri complex. This experience was closed with a fantastic signature brunch at Sofra restaurant, just before Zaid and his family’s departure from the hotel.
