Vehicle and transport safety at work The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has published fi gures for fatalities at work in the period 2024-2025. Being struck by a vehicle continues to be one of the main causes of fatal and major injuries in the workplace. The figures for 2024 to 2025 show that 14 workers were killed that year when struck by a moving vehicle. The workplace transport section of the HSE website has a range of guidance, advice and other resources to help reduce the risks and keep workers safe. T ickets for the BIFA Liverpool Region Annual dinner are now on sale. This popular black-tie event returns to the Hilton Liverpool City Centre on Friday 20 March 2026 and will see companies from the Liverpool port community come together for an evening of social networking and charity fundraising. Once again, the main beneficiary of the event will be Liverpool Zoe’s Place, the local baby hospice supporting families of terminally ill children across the region.
This event always sells out, so book your tickets now at BIFA Liverpool Dinner. Tickets are £80 + VAT per person (table for 10 or 12 guests available) and include a three-course meal, half-bottle of wine per guest, entertainment from a comedian and dancing to a DJ and saxophonist.
