This unit is designed to help Ballou STAY students recognize their value through reflection of their experiences and identify their employable skills and talents to note on their choice of Resume or CV (Curriculum Vitae). Overview A sense of self-worth builds confidence, pushes others to treat you the way you deserve, and improves your ability to seize opportunities. This unit focuses on promoting an “I-Have-What-It-Takes” mindset for Ballou STAY students. It encourages them to take a closer look at things they can do (i.e., build/construct, cook, organize/manage, draw/sketch, write, provide lawn care, be a care-giver) and traits they can successfully demonstrate (i.e., being responsible, dependable, considerate of others, friendly, a problem solver, open-minded, a good listener) to identify job ready skills and qualities.
