LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

MUSÉE DE LA CASTRE Is housed in one of the oldest buildings in Cannes. It has a fabulously diverse ethnographic collection. FORT ROYAL The fort is located on Sainte Marguerite Island and owes its notoriety to its most famous prisoner, the Man in the Iron Mask. VILLA ROTHSCHILD Located in the town of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat between Nice and Monaco, the villa was built in 1881 for Béatrice de Rothschild. Don't miss its nine gardens! MARCHÉ FORVILLE Local produce & flowers are the focus of this open-air market that sells produce, seafood, cheese & more. QUAY ST PIERRE A line of restaurants opening their terraces onto a wide sidewalk-promenade planted with palm trees. SUQUET DISTRICT The old quarter of Cannes, best known as the climbing, winding cobbled lane lined with local restaurants, Rue St Antoine.

LÉRINS ISLANDS The Lérins Islands is an archipelago of four islands located in the bay of Cannes. These islands are a great place to relax in nature. RUE D’ANTIBES While you stroll, take time to admire the beautiful architecture along the street—many of the buildings date to the 19 th century. ECO MUSEUM This museum is underwater! Located between the Lérins islands, its six underwater statues are ecologically friendly and help create refuge where flora and fauna can flourish. SIGHTSEEING FLIGHTS See the French Riviera that most visitors miss. A private sightseeing flight offers a one-of-a-kind way to tour the region. BOULEVARD DE LA CROISETTE The jewel of the city of Cannes. Linking the beach and the city, the Croisette is an attractive promenade par excellence. CHEMIN DES ETOILES The Cannes Chemin des Étoiles pays tribute to the stars of the silver screen.

BOAT TRIPS

FANCY TAKING A BOAT TRIP FROM CANNES? Set off from the Vieux-Port de Cannes on boat trips to extraordinary destinations. St. Tropez, Monaco, the Lérins Islands, and even the Corniche d’Or… Enjoy these captivating landscapes in complete peace and quiet. Find details below on how to get to the Quai des Iles and hop aboard for an excursion in the very heart of the Côte d’Azur.

THE CORNICHE D’OR

SAINT-HONORAT ISLAND

SAINTE-MARGUERITE ISLAND

Take a boat along the Corniche d’Or, the renowned 40-km section of road between Frejus and La Napoule. Discover an exceptional landscape characterized by the contrast between the colors of the tree covered Estérel mountain range and the blue of the Mediterranean. Along the way, be sure to visit the various coves and inlets with their characteristic red sand.

A few minutes by boat from the Vieux-Port, Saint-Marguerite Island is the bigger of the Lérins Islands. As soon as you set foot on the island, you will be taken in by its imposing 152-hectare forest- the most visited in France – and its delicate fragrance of pine and eucalyptus. You can follow the signposted paths leading to the Etangs des Bateguier or explore all the nooks and crannies of the Fort Royal. For those who prefer to relax, Saint-Marguerite Island boasts 18 beaches. Choose from several ferry companies and book your boat trip departing from Cannes!

The smaller of the Lérins Islands, Saint- Honorat Island is renowned for its abbey, a heritage site. Its vineyard produces wines and liqueurs considered reputable by those in the profession. Get your hands on a bottle by stopping off at the gift shop, where you will be greeted by the abbey’s hospitable monks. Make sure to explore the tenth-century chapels and eleventh century relics or lay down your towel in one of the pebbly coves. Environmental note: From July 1st, 2022, there will be no more rubbish bins on the Lérins Islands. In order to preserve these beautiful islands in the bay of Cannes and to maintain a unique fauna and flora, we invite visitors to bring their waste with them. Waste bins will be set up on the Quai des Iles in the Vieux-Port de Cannes.
