DEPARTMENT SPOTLIGHT: TRUCKLOAD PRICING
The Truckload Pricing Department consists of two separate groups: Pricing Analytics and Carrier Development. Pricing Analytics , led by Caitlin Fitzpatrick, focuses on reviewing current client and carrier data to proactively make network recommendations, while also assisting Sales and Solutions in discovering new opportunities for truckload procurement. Once those solutions are designed, Derek Noble and the Carrier Development team begin to identify best-fitting, best-in-class carriers to maintain or improve service expectations at market competitive pricing.
In addition to these core functions, the Truckload Pricing group provides many ancillary services to improve both our client’s and our carrier’s experience:
• Provide current market intelligence associates who work with our clients and prospective clients. • Assist the sales efforts, both through on-site visits and data validation conference calls. • Participate in weekly strategy calls and Quarterly Business Reviews with many of our top Transportation Insight clients • Perform carrier satisfaction surveys on behalf of clients, and coordinate carrier summits when deemed beneficial. • Bring full Transportation Insight network visibility of shipping lanes to our carriers looking to optimize their routes and fulfill back-haul needs. The Truckload Pricing team truly believes we have the best jobs in the company because we have two customers — the shipper and the carrier — and we get to introduce them to each other. In addition, we interact daily with virtually all of our internal departments, and we view ourselves as a customer service department to each of you. The Truckload Pricing associates have a wide range of industry backgrounds and well-rounded talent. From Outsourced Execution, to Client Services, to truckload brokerage, to technical sales, we have the knowledge and desire to help. Just let us know how.
