Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival March 1–3 Newcastle, St. Andrew
This year marks the second Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival, an event that was started just last year. It’s a three-day festival dedicated to local coffee and celebrating the farm-to-cup tradition. The event plays host to coffee, food, live music, and cultural presentations. Poetry in Motion Feb. 24 Manchester Golf Club, Mandeville
Poetry in Motion is an event dedicated to Dr. Louise Bennett-Coverley, aka Miss Lou. It’s an evening with many of Jamaica’s distinguished artists, from dancers to musicians and poets. Performers include Yasus Afari, Professor Mervyn Morris, Professor Fred Hickling, Mutabaruka, Ann-Marie Wilmot, and Karen Smith.
