Year 11 visit to Hounslow Jamia Mosque Year 11 visit to

Our Year 11 RPE students visited The Hounslow Jamia Mosque to explore the lived reality of Muslims in the UK. Whilst on the visit, the students had a talk and a tour of the mosque including the library and the wudu room. They finished the visit with a Q&A where they asked questions about religion, worship and made connections with the areas of the GCSE exam papers they are facing next summer. The lead RPE teacher on the trip, Ms Irshad said: “The mosque was happy to welcome our students and praised the depth, authenticity, and thoughtfulness of their questions. We were also very grateful for the opportunity to ask questions that will support the students in the ethical topics they will be studying after the festive break.''
