If you were ever looking for an example of how politics and business are two different beasts, there has never been a better time. Those in the Westminster bubble have continued their Brexit procrastinations and are finding ever-more infuriating ways of not getting the job done – for whichever way of the Brexit divide you fall. But that won’t wash in the business world. We all have to keep plugging away regardless. We have deadlines to hit, targets to meet and projects to complete. There is uncertainty attached to what comes next, of course. But those who rely on making, manufacturing building and serving can’t kick the can down the road.
