For those who prefer their entertainment on dry land, there is still plenty to do for all ages. Children and big kids alike can have a go at giant battle ships, a mobile surfing simulator and BMX, or they could try their hand at climbing and caving. There will also be fantastic food, drink and shopping stalls on offer throughout the weekend. All this and plenty of live music will be taking place over the three days, including performances as part of the Gloucester Sea Shanty Festival. On the Saturday, schoolchildren and other local performers will also be taking to stages across the
festival as part of a one-day event in partnership with the prestigious Water City Music and Gloucester Academy of Music. The festival runs from Saturday May 25 to Bank Holiday Monday, May 27. Standard tickets for the festival are £10 for adults with accompanying children under-12 free with every ticket purchased.
