Gospel Picture Stories from Mexico A“|"1 here is an old saying that one [_ picture is worth a thousand words. And this may he the key to the success of one of Mexico’s Christian publishing houses. The firm is Fountain Publications ( Publicacio nes de la Fuente) with headquarters in Mexico City. They specialize in visualizing the gospel message. The increase in literacy in Latin America means a greater demand for printed mdtter. And the people' of Fountain Publications have found that the more pictures the greater the appeal. Acting on this fact, this press has prepared a Bible story picture book as well as many other Christian books and tracts in Spanish to meet the need. Thomas E. Fountain, who directs the work, is assisted part time by Jack McLellan, an employee of Du Pont corporation. Fountain himself personally directs the mailing and distribution of literature.
