As I begin my term as Chair of the WFCA Board of Directors, I wanted to briefly introduce myself and share what I’m most excited about as we head into 2026. I’m a second-generation flooring retailer with Great Western Flooring in Naperville, Illinois—and a working mom—so I understand firsthand the realities of running a business, leading a team, and balancing it all. That perspective closely reflects how our membership continues to evolve, and it’s one I carry with me into this role. WFCA exists to support independent flooring retailers, and my focus as Chair is simple: listening, learning, and helping ensure our association delivers real, meaningful value. Membership should feel like a true partnership—one that supports your business today and helps prepare you for what’s ahead. I look forward to connecting with our members, gaining deeper insight into your challenges and opportunities, and working alongside WFCA leadership to stay aligned with what matters most to independent retailers. I encourage you to stay engaged this year—use the resources available, participate in events, and share your perspective. Your involvement helps shape the direction of WFCA and strengthens our collective voice. It’s an honor to serve, and I’m grateful to support an industry and community I care deeply about.
