MANUFACTURING & ENGINEERING DAY 2024
On November 14th, Wabash Valley College hosted its Manufacturing & Engineering Tech Day, welcoming over 30 high school students and community members to learn about exciting career opportunities in this growing field. The event was a chance to explore WVC’s hands-on program that’s designed to give students real-world experience and industry-relevant skills. It’s all about preparing graduates to hit the ground running as entry-level professionals in manufacturing and engineering —a field that’s vital to our local economy.
Lighting, and Maureen Hays from CEFS-WIOA in Crawford and Lawrence Counties for their support. Their involvement helped make the day both informative and inspiring. Participants enjoyed lunch and walked away with a better understanding of what it takes to succeed in this line of work. It’s great to see WVC bringing opportunities like this to our community, helping pave the way for the next generation of skilled workers.
