APR To Offer Elite Printer Workshop In October All Printing Resources (APR) will hold a two-day Elite Printer Workshop on October 23-25 at the com- pany’s Glendale Heights, Illinois, USA Technology Center. The seminar is open to all printers and con- verters and will provide high-level technical training targeted at a range of company job functions, includ- ing sales, marketing, customer service, design, pre- press and management. Attendees will explore what it takes for converters to push the limits of 4-color and 7-color process printing.This includes how running to standards like G7 and enforcing process control procedures enable companies to raise their print quality standards to new levels. Sessions topics will include considerations for de- sign and prepress conversions, press fingerprinting and characterization, and process control from pre- press into the pressroom. Each day will feature live flexo demonstrations, walking attendees through the characterization and fingerprinting process. Presenters will review how measurements are utilized for image optimization, proofing, and color management.
