The adults so far have shown only indifference. . . . The Lord has blessed our visita tion work in two towns near Merced. In another area, we saw approximate ly forty men of the ‘wino’ type. The men in charge of them allowed us to distribute literature and gave us an urgent invitation to come to their camp for a Gospel meeting.” Lyle Eggleston ’49, South America: “ Celso was saved four years ago. . . . Although he stammers and for this reason seldom takes part in a service, yet he is a soul winner who brought several to Christ who are now mem bers of the church'here in Coquimbo. . . . He was attacked by some candors. . . . His eyes sparkled as he told us of this narrow escape. . . . However, they glistened even more when he told of his Uncle Santos, who was the defenseless prey of the enemy of souls and that he came to know the L o r d from the sacred Scriptures which Celso showed him.”
