2025 SRN Program

Services for the Rodders (All locations and times of operation can be found on pages 62 & 63)

MHRA Rod Repair Shop Celebrating 53 years of helping rodders at no charge, the Michigan Hot Rod Association is ready and willing to help you out of a bind at this year’s 56th Street Rod Nationals. The Powermaster Performance Testing area is conveniently located nearby. Safety Inspections Whether your car passes the basic 16-point Safety Inspection, the more intensive 23-point “Safety 23” sticker inspection, or you were unaware of the extra safety items each Inspector recommends, you’ll drive away from an NSRA Safety Inspection feeling much better about your ride. Registration & Trailer Parking Registration for the 56th Street Rod Nationals will return to the Broadbent Arena by entering the KEC through Gate #4 on Central Avenue just off Crittenden Drive. Trailer Parking is in the National Guard Armory just before Gate #4 from Tuesday, July 29, at 9am and then Wednesday through Sunday from 7am-7pm. This is a fully secured area. People Movers & Mobility Scooters The Louisville Exposition Center is a huge facility and the best way to save some shoe leather and get around is to hop aboard one of the People Mover Trams that circle the entire facility during the event. Also, Scooter Time Rentals will once again be back with semi-trucks full of mobility scooters for rent throughout the event. Swap Meet Swap Meets held in conjunction with NSRA events are among the best in their areas and if you visit Area P on your Expo Map, you’ll experience one of the best in the entire nation. It’s always packed with quality used and hard-to-find parts plus great project cars. Nick Donovan’s “Rockin’ Road Show” Everything from great rock ‘n’ roll to public address announcements can be heard across the Expo Center grounds, but you must visit the “Rockin’ Road Show” recording studio to check if you are a Super Prize win- ner. Every day of the event, Thursday thru Sunday, there will be one drawing for $5,000. Thursday thru Saturday the winning Event Entry number will be posted on the ‘whiteboard’ on the side of the Rockin’ Road Show trailer. One final drawing at the Sunday Awards Program for $5,000 will conclude the 2025 Street Rod Nationals $20,000 $weep$take$ Giveaway! Be sure to check the whiteboard several times a day to see if you won a Super Prize or maybe part of the $20,000 $weep$take$! Worship Service Always a great way to start the last day of an NSRA event, the all-denominational Sunday Worship Service is a featured activity. Everyone in attendance at every NSRA National event is invited to come for some inspira- tional music intertwined with messages and time for reflection making it a Worship Service worth attending. Circle of Winners An easy way to see all 50 award winners at the 56th Street Rod Nationals is to show up in Freedom Hall at 12 noon Sunday, deposit your Sunday Lucky Ticket in the tumbler, and enjoy the Circle of Winners on full display. Strolling through each year’s “Circle” is an experience unto itself until 1pm when the official Awards Ceremony begins and those with a Sunday Lucky Ticket anticipate winning one of the Super Prizes or the last $5,000 in the $20,000 $weep$take$ Giveaway.
