MHRA Rod Repair Shop
E ver since 1972 members of the Michigan Hot Rod Association (MHRA) have manned the Rod Repair Shop at the NSRA Street Rod Nationals. The volunteer car guys who’ve worked the mobile repair shop over all these years could fill volumes with stories of free repairs they’ve completed. Likewise, if stories from stranded NSRA members could be compiled describing the feeling of being hundreds or
thousands of miles from home and having a breakdown, the true value of the MHRA Rod Repair Shop comes to light. With help from sponsors (and sometimes donations) plus the combined knowledge of the volunteer talent with tools at hand, the MHRA Rod Repair Shop will make sure you don’t feel stranded. In some cases they fix items that failed the free Safety Inspection going on at this same event so participants can continue enjoying the show and return home safely. Check the map on page 62 for area “D” and page 63 for times of operation.
Powermaster Performance Starting & Charging System Testing
P owermaster Performance is offering free starting and charging system inspections for the seventeenth straight year at the 56th NSRA Street Rod Nationals. Factory engineers from Powermaster will be available to evaluate issues with vehicle starting and charging systems to help ensure
