Mopar Country at the Nationals for 50th Year

O ne of the longest running traditions of the NSRA Street Rod Nationals continues this year as “Mopar Country” convenes for the fiftieth year. Mopar Country is open to all Mopar-bodied or Mopar- powered cars registered for the NSRA

Street Rod Nationals, and this special mini- event normally attracts well over 100 participating vehicles. Sign up for Mopar Country will be at the site of the activity on Saturday, August 2. The time and location for Mopar Country is listed in the Event

display on Sunday preceding the Awards Program. Everyone involved is pleased to be able to continue Mopar Country and, whether you’re a Mopar owner or not, this special gathering is something not to be missed.

Schedule on page 63 and the Expo Map on page 62. A panel of judges will select five outstanding Mopars for their own special awards, and these vehicles will be a part of the Circle of Winners

29 Below Program is for Young Rodders

T he 29 Below program, sponsored by Vintage Air, continues as one of the longest running young rodder enthusiast programs in the specialty vehicle hobby. The 29 Below program’s heritage dates to 1986 when the National Street Rod Association was the first to acknowledge the younger enthusiasts needed to be recognized for

Participants with a valid driver’s license up to and including the age of 29, with their own rod in their name and registered for the event, will be eligible to take part in this

activity. As the sponsor, Vintage Air will provide each participant that displays their own car in 29 Below with a commemorative dash plaque and T-shirt, and those that register for the

activity will be eligible for a special drawing for Vintage Air Super Prizes. The 29 Below area is always a great crowd to spend time with, whether as a participant or someone interested in seeing what the younger enthusiasts

their participation. The NSRA program has had the support of three companies over the years, with Vintage Air of San Antonio, Texas, being the current sponsor. The 29 Below show is a part of the NSRA Street Rod Nationals as a special mini- event. The gathering
