Produced with ladies in mind, Women’s World features thousands of local area arts and crafts plus quilt displays. Men are welcome and we’re sure they’ll find the variety of items on display impressive and a great place to pick up a gift.
Swap Meet
We all know women love shopping at Women’s World and the guys love stalking the Swap Meet. Each year the Street Rod Nationals draws dealers ranging from the seasoned swappers to fellow enthusiasts simply clearing out the garage. In recent years the number of projects/cars for sale has grown and they come from far and near. It’s just the place to find a rare part or next project, gain knowledge from seasoned swappers, or pick from all the cool automobilia on display. Women beware—you’ll love it too!
Kid Zone
“Backyard Bounce” is back with their A-list attractions set up next to the Food Court from Thursday thru Saturday in the North Hall. The kids will go wild playing Mini Basketball Allstar, Chip Golf Shot, Giant Cup Pong or Giant Checkers. Plus, did we mention they’re next to the Food Court?
Shopping Mall Buses
On Friday, August 1, buses will operate between the Expo Center and “The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass” courtesy of Louisville Tourism. It offers over 100 name brand and designer stores offering 20-70 percent off the retail price. Buses will pick up at Expo Center Gate 6 beginning at 9:15am and continue to run until the last pickup at 1:45pm. Pickups from the Outlet Shoppes back to the Expo Center will begin at 10am and continue until the last pickup at 4pm for arrival at the Expo Center by 4:45pm. On Saturday, August 2, buses will provide shuttle service from Gate 6 to Derby City Gaming.
