30 th Northeast Street Rod Nationals

E arly arrivals for the 30th Northeast Street Rod Nationals, held September 27-29, enjoyed a Kick-off Dinner, compliments of Hello Burlington and the Champlain Valley Exposition Center. The Host Clubs were the Champlain Valley Street Rodders, helping other rodders with any repairs throughout the weekend, and the Connecticut Street Rod Association hosting games. Frank Barron and the Maine Safety Team welcomed 87 students from four different Vo-Tec programs to the event to learn more about the NSRA Safety Inspection program and street rodding in general. The Safety Team also inspected 79 vehicles of which 64 passed and 60 received the Safety 23 sticker. As the participants entered the Champlain Valley Expo Friday morning, they were greeted by members of six area clubs: the Road Scholars, Stateline Rod & Custom, Maine Coastal Cruisers, Olde Tyme Cruisin’ Club, Vermont Street Rodders and the Downeast Street Rods. The Carz Car Club helped set up the Swap Meet and the Rhode Island Street Rod Association gathered cars for “Canadian Country.” Eli English from Traditional

Speed and Custom enjoyed his time as the event’s “Spotlight Builder.” Heidi Press hosted 175 ladies at an “All Girls Garage” Ladies

Tea sponsored by O’Brien Truckers, Sanderson Headers, Alumicraft, Engineered Components, Hole in the Wall Garage

and Watson’s StreetWorks. Nicole Goulette made sure Women’s World had plenty of cool arts and crafts for shoppers and JoAnne Lombari awarded Linda Fenderson an award for her automotive- themed quilt amongst stiff competition from 20 entries in several categories. After a weekend of “Fun With Cars” everybody was ready to hit the road and enjoy the cruise home. NSRA welcomes everybody back September 12-13, 2025, for the 31st NSRA Northeast Street Rod Nationals.
