Dow Opens Nominations For Packaging Innovation Awards Dow is launching its call for entries for The 2019 Packaging Innovation Awards. Submissions for the in- ternational awards program will be accepted from January 22 through March 29 on the Dow Packaging Innovation Awards website. This is the second year Dow is the title sponsor of the globally recognized awards program, carrying on the tradition started by DuPont more than 30 years ago. The Packaging Innovation Awards carry on as the industry’s longest-running independently judged awards program. As in years past, Dow is assembling an international panel of independent judges from many disciplines to provide a global perspective across design, engineering, retail, e-commerce, con- verting and academia. Going For Gold Last year’s program featured more than 200 entries from companies in more than 30 countries, and it re- sulted in nine Diamond Finalist winners, eight Gold Award winners and 11 Silver Award winners, in addi- tion to the best-in-class Diamond Award winner. Proc- ter & Gamble’s Aerof lexx Liquid Packaging Technology took the top prize for using advanced technology to increase resource efficiency while im- proving the user experience. Entry in this year’s competition is free, and appli- cants are not required to use Dow or DuPont materi- als in their products. All entries must be commercial products that have been on the market for more than one year beginning in 2015 or later.Visit www.dow- packagingawards.com . ePac Flexible Packaging plans to continue its rapid growth in cities throughout the United States.
