Qualifications/Education MBA qualification, or equivalent professional qualification or experience
Master’s degree, and additional in-depth professional training and knowledge of strategic management, financial management, performance management, staff management, legal requirements and regulatory processes to doctorate or equivalent level, acquired through training and experience over an extended period Evidence of continued professional and managerial development
Professional Registration Relevant professional registration – Chartered Institute as preference
Previous Experience Extensive experience of leading large and complex services and teams across a range of disciplines (in health care) Extensive record of delivering and meeting key operational and financial targets on a large and complex scale Significant experience of formulating long term, organisation-wide strategic plans and development of projects resulting in positive value for money outcomes Extensive, in-depth experience of organisation-wide policy and service development, interpreting legislative and other requirements Significant, proven experience of leading and managing change to improve performance against KPIs. Knowledge Expert and extensive in-depth knowledge of the planning, scheduling and management of operational systems within a complex environment Excellent understanding and specialist knowledge of the healthcare environment
