Notes on the Remarks & Explanations 1. Whether the content of the publication meets this criterion depends upon the PDF that the user uploads. 2. To meet this criterion not just for the interface part but also for the content part of the publication, the user should: a. upload a PDF that meets this criterion ; b. make that PDF available for download. (Publications created with FlippingBook Online by default offer the ability to download the PDF.) 3. The user has the possibility to add content to the flipbooks that is subject to this criterion. If the user does this, then they must make sure that the added content complies with this criterion. For example, the user can add video. To comply with criterion 1.2.1, the user should either only add video that contains an audio track with equivalent information for prerecorded video-only content or should provide an alternative for the content, for example by adding a link to a text document with the full description. 4. The standard contrast levels in the interface meet this criterion. However, several color and background settings can be changed by the user. When doing so, the user should ensure that this criterion is still met afterward.
