UNCHARITABLE SCREENING
Challenging Old Assumptions… and Inspiring New Actions UnCharitable, a highly anticipated documentary directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal, uncovers the reality of philanthropy and introduces a radical new way of giving. We had the pleasure of supporting the Power To Give Foundation in hosting the Canadian pre-screenings on September 6th in Toronto and October 24th in Calgary. We will also be supporting the event in Vancouver on January 10th, 2024. Based on the best-selling book and popular TED Talk by Dan Pallotta, the film invites viewers to think about bringing economic freedom to causes we love and helping empower our non-profit leaders. Pallotta argues that nonprofit ideology acts as a strict regulatory mechanism on natural economic law, putting the nonprofit sector at an extreme disadvantage compared to the for-profit sector. The documentary urges the audience to challenge old assumptions of philanthropy to inspire new actions and be a true catalyst for progress. UnCharitable premiered on September 22nd in the U.S. and Canada. Join us in spreading the word about this important message. | Trailer | Canadian/US theatre showing dates
