Voices of RPIA

A LETTER FROM OUR CEO

Richard Pilosof Principal, Chief Executive Officer

It has been 14 years since RPIA was founded, and I am immensely grateful to our investors and our employees for what we’ve accomplished. Throughout 2023, our team has excellently navigated the unique intersection of rising rates, economic resilience, and continued volatility. As a firm, we continued to grow over the past year, and I am proud of our team’s unwavering dedication to helping our investors and our community. We remain committed to building a flat organization that is rooted in a culture of mentorship and collaboration. As we scale up, it is wonderful to see our people grow and develop as individuals alongside the firm, embodying our shared values. 2023 brought many exciting initiatives to RPIA, and I am pleased to highlight a few of them: • Supporting Professional Development: Our internal employee engagement program, RPIA Elevate, continues to support our employees through mentorship, allyship, development initiatives, and connected communications. • New Ways of Giving: We had the privilege of supporting the Power To Give Foundation in hosting the pre-screening of Stephen Gyllenhaal’s Uncharitable movie, which challenges old assumptions about philanthropy and proposes a new way of giving. • Impact on the Community: Giving back is a core piece of our culture. We’ve had the honour of supporting some impactful organizations over the year, along with some of our own initiatives to help develop the next generation of leaders in our industry. Our goal continues to be developing partnerships with our investors, serving them with excellence, integrity, and transparency as they entrust us with their capital. Our teams help bring this mission to life with a strong dedication to their roles as we continue to grow and adapt to the evolving world around us. We believe it is our duty to support and enrich our community, not just with our money but also with our time, talent, and voices as we volunteer, educate, and speak up for what matters. This publication illustrates RPIA’s passion for having an inclusive and open culture, doing good through our work, and empowering our employees as they become leaders in the causes they care about. I hope you enjoy learning more about what we do and how the many voices of RPIA are embracing their talents and speaking up about their passions.

Best Wishes, Richard Pilosof
