The lower levels feature open, integrated common areas illuminated by a large skylight. On the upper levels, the building is set back to ensure views, sunlight, and respect for the protected surroundings. All rooms face the city, and the building incorporates energy-efficiency features, passive solar control systems, natural ventilation, and fully electric operation. Its main contribution is to fill a historical gap, restore urban continuity, and revitalize a long-neglected heritage area, restoring its value, spatial coherence, and future potential. terials, and the neutrality of the finishes allow the spaces to maintain a timeless quality. Beyond its physical characteristics, the project prompts a reflection on the role of the architect today. Self-management is presented as an alternative to traditional real estate development models, where the architect is often relegated to a specific stage. This model not only entails greater responsibility but also an opportunity to redefine disci- pline, expanding its boundaries and exploring new ways of professional practice that integrate design, management, and execution. The relationship between design and economics is also evident in the project. The choice of materials, the optimization of construction systems, and the incorporation of technologies aim to strike a balance between quality and efficiency. Finally, the project takes a critical stance toward current urban de- velopment dynamics. In a context where standardization and profit maximization often dominate, M2100 proposes an alternative based on precision, coherence, and responsibility. Architecture is understood as a conscious act that involves not only form but also the way it is produced and inhabited. !

This project is conceived as a comprehensive architectural endeavor that goes beyond traditional disciplinary practice to enter the realm of self-management, where the firm not only designs but also assumes responsibility for management, development, marketing, and operations. The location on Pedro de Valdivia Norte places the project within an urban context rich in meaning. Its proximity to Sculpture Park and San Cristóbal Hill not only adds scenic value but also establishes a direct relationship between the building and its surroundings. From a morphological standpoint, the building adopts a low-density strategy, with 26 units distributed across four levels. This decision stems from a desire to maintain an intermediate scale that engages with the existing environment. The architecture is conceived from a place of discretion rather than disruption, recognizing that its value lies in its ability to insert itself precisely into a pre-existing context. Materiality is one of the most significant aspects of the project. The use of exposed concrete is understood as a disciplinary stance that highlights the logic of construction. The material is neither hidden nor covered, but rather exposed in its original state. The facade is structured by a continuous balcony that runs along the building’s volume, creating a horizontal perspective that emphasizes the relationship between the units and the exterior. The interior of the building is organized around a circulation core that concentrates the vertical connections, with the staircase at the forefront, and is articulated around a naturally lit central void. At the entrance, wood serves as an element that introduces warmth and a sense of intimacy. As one moves toward the core, stainless steel comes into view, reflecting natural light. The residential units incorporate a series of design choices that enhance their spatial quality. The interior height, the selection of ma-

This residential building is situated on a narrow, deep, and nearly residual plot of land, nestled between existing structures and constrained by a dense urban environment. The project takes this condition as its start- ing point, developing an elongated volume that responds to the site’s geometry and allows for the efficient arrangement of the apartments,
