Something new at the Clarence-Rockland Arena this year. Art took over the mez- zanine area as the Artists Association of Clarence-Rockland (AACR) hosted its Fall Show as a cultural change-of-pace for hockey fans in mid-October. “Over the years we’ve hosted different shows at different venues,” said Bernard Lévèsque, AACR president. “By showing art at the hockey arena, we are bringing art and sports together.” More than two dozen local and regional artists set up their exhibits at the show. Lévèsque reported a “very fluid” and steady walk-in crown of viewers.
