Type HLC Copper Hot Line Clamps • Clamping stem is high strength stainless steel alloy
• The threads of the clamping stem are well protected inside the body portion of the clamp, preventing any damage due to arcing during installation or removal • An application of silicone lubricant provides additional protection for the threads • The saddle is made of high strength copper alloy which insures continued clamping force over the entire contact length of the main conductor • The hotline clamp also has a stainless-steel split lock washer that helps maintain continuous pressure on the main conductor despite fluctuating conditions •Retainer pin captivates the saddle for ease of installation • For tin plating, suffix catalog number with “-TN”
