Art Adventure Camps
The Cultural Arts Centre offers camps for young artists, actors, writers, and fencers! Each camp type has a specific age limit. Not all camp types are offered every week.
Fine Arts June 2-6, June 9-13, June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-Aug 1 9 AM - 3:30 PM This camp is open for kids ages 6-12. Each week, campers will try their hand at new and imaginative art projects while receiving instruction in classic art forms and expanding their horizons into contemporary ones. Campers may visit the Cultural Arts Centre art galleries and occasionally take walks to the nearby park. These camps may also feature "plein air" or "open air" painting outside (weather permitting). Sculpture June 2-6, June 9-13, June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-Aug 1 9 AM - 3:30 PM This camp is open for kids ages 8-12. Sculpture Camp offers a unique opportunity for young artists to develop their sculpting skills and explore a range of sculpting styles and materials.
Ta-Da! Young Actors June 16-27 | 9 AM - 3:30 PM
This camp is open for kids ages 9-12. In this 2-week camp, young actors will explore a range of performance skills including the techniques used on stage, theatrical terms, how to audition, dance, and music. Campers will work as a group to create a unique performance the last day of camp.
Write-On! Young Authors July 28-August 1 | 9 AM - 3:30 PM
This camp is open for kids ages 9-12. Young authors will unleash their imagination while developing literacy skills, building confidence, and encouraging creativity. Each day is filled with fun writing activities, focused lessons, independent and group writing, sharing, and so much more!

Fencing June 16-20, June 23-27 | 9 AM - 3:30 PM
This camp is open for kids ages 10-16 and is for both beginners and experienced fencers. Participants will learn the basics of the art of fencing including the en garde position, stance, defense, attacks, and courtesy. The instructor provides all equipment.
Basic Classical Fencing AGE: 10+ years | MEMBER DISCOUNT: $5.00
