ASAP IvyTech.edu/ASAP
The Associate Accelerated Program (ASAP) helps high school graduates earn an associate degree in 11 months, preparing them to transfer to earn a bachelor’s degree (with 100% of graduates being accepted into at least one or more four-year colleges). Courses are held in small cohorts on weekdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., with students together in their group through graduation. Additionally, a dedicated coordinator helps students identify academic goals, create a plan of success and more. • Eligibility requirements: Younger than 22 years old with a high school GPA of 2.5 and a strong attendance record. • Application process: Submit the interest form and application at IvyTech.edu/ASAP. • Application deadline: Applications accepted year-round for upcoming semesters. BOWEN SCHOLARS IvyTech.edu/Bowen The Bowen Scholars Program assists students in achieving academic and career success. Bowen Scholars receive tutoring, support services, a $1,000 living allowance each semester, professional development, and networking. • Eligibility requirements: African Americans who attend or plan to attend Ivy Tech. Must be a U.S. citizen. Completion of at least six college-level credits from Ivy Tech at the time of application. Preference is given to Marion County residents. • Application process: Application information sessions offered before application deadlines. Must complete an online application and provide 1-2 letters of recommendation. • Application deadline: April 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester.
HONORS COLLEGE IvyTech.edu/Honors
The Honors College fosters an environment for students to enhance their spirit of inquiry, intellectual growth, multicultural awareness, and leadership opportunities. Graduates exemplify a high level of scholarship, prepared to continue to a four-year institution. This program supports students every step of the way by providing a personalized experience for a student’s educational goals. • Eligibility requirements: Applicants typically plan to transfer to a four-year college or university is a recent high school graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.2 • Application process: Apply at IvyTech.edu/Honors. • Application deadline: Applications accepted year-round for upcoming semesters. IGNITE IvyTech.edu/IgniteIndy Ignite assists students who have experienced the foster care system, homelessness, and/or independent youth status. • Eligibility requirements: Former foster or homeless youth, students working on their first college degree. • Application process: Attend an information session and complete an application. • Application deadline: Applications are accepted year-round.
