Stroll up to Pittville Park to explore Pittville Pump Room, a grand monument to the Regency era. Not too far away is the Holst Victorian House, the birthplace of Gustav Holst. If you want to discover even more about Cheltenham’s history, try booking one of the walking tours of the town. If you’re seeking experiences, head to Sibling Gin Distillery. Run by four siblings, it offers bookable tours to give visitors an insight into how its delicious gin gets made, with a tasting at the end. If you’d like to soak up some of your scenic surroundings, do it in style. Starting from Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway will take you deep into the Cotswolds, stopping at several picturesque towns along the way, including Winchcombe, where you can swing by Sudeley Castle, the resting place of Catherine Parr, Henry VIII’s last wife. Set in picturesque countryside, it is a beautiful place to visit. In the evening, why not take in a show at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre, catch a film at the boutique Tivoli cinema, or relax in one of the town’s many bars and restaurants. WHERE TO EAT AND DRINK Cheltenham is a real foodie town, with an incredible array of businesses offering delicious food and drink. For relaxed dining, opt for The Coconut Tree. This restaurant has become a firm favourite with locals, serving Sri Lankan street food in a cool, laid-back atmosphere. Another option would be to head towards Regent Street. This part of town has a lively evening ambience and a huge selection of restaurants and bars
