S ince 2016, Cheltenham ownership syndicates. During this time, the syndicate members have enjoyed some wonderful occasions and certainly not been strangers to the winner’s enclosure. The new offering by The Jockey Club promises much of the same, perhaps even more. “Being a member of our new racing club offers some unique benefits that are not readily available in other shared ownership experiences,” explains Alastair Watson, who is among the experienced Jockey Club team members sharing the task of running the new-look initiative. “In addition to getting to race three horses, our members receive a two-year Racecourse has led the field, successfully operating a number of shared racehorse membership at Cheltenham, Exeter, Warwick and Wincanton racecourses as part of their package. This secures them access to the members’ facilities at each and every meeting at these venues, where they are guaranteed some of the best Jump racing in the country – not just the incredible meetings at Cheltenham, but the likes of the Haldon Gold Cup, the Classic Chase and the Kingwell Hurdle as well. What’s more, our members can enjoy hundreds of reciprocal race meetings around the UK and Ireland. If you like going racing, this is the club to be in.”

Another popular reason to join the racing club is that on each day of the Festival, the members are provided with an exclusive area in the tented village, meaning they can enjoy the best race meeting on earth without the customary hustle and bustle. “Having this private area is worth its weight in gold,” Alastair continues.
